Meet Rosa! Our New On-Camera Instructor!
Rosa Isabella Salvatierra has over 12 years of experience as a working actress in theater, film, television, and voiceover. Key acting appearances include roles in Orange is the New Black, Sesame Street, and SNL. She also hosted 74 episodes for the Dreamworks Youtube series “That’s the Spirit!” on the Spirit Riding Free Youtube Channel. You may have also heard her voice in English and Spanish in ChatGPT’s 2025 Superbowl Commercial!
BroadwayWorld Denver described Rosa as a “rising star” for her performance as Julia Reyes in I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. She was honored to receive a Colorado Henry Award (Outstanding Perforamance by a Leading Actor) for her performance in this production.
Years of professional experience during her childhood and teen years taught Rosa about working on film sets. She recently graduated with highest honors from Rowan University's Radio Television and Film program with a concentration in Production. During her time at Rowan, Rosa made her directorial debut with her original comedic short film “Mi Cuento de Fantasmas.” She received a Broadcast Education Association (BEA) Award of Excellence and she was awarded the Debut Filmmaker Award at the Count Basie Center Breakthrough Filmmaker Festival.
She’s so stoked to join the Haddonfield Theater Arts Center family as the new on-camera acting coach for students, and can’t wait to get to know the family!

About Us
For 17 years, HTAC has been one of the premiere theatrical arts instructional institutions in South Jersey. While we produce several shows (and now films) throughout the year, our primary focus is teaching the craft of acting with a curriculum that is specifically tailored to each age group. Whether students attend classes with hopes of a professional career or simply want to have fun with their peers, the skills achieved through our classes are skills that prove beneficial for life itself. With a top notch, professional staff, we make sure that the focus is always on the students as we teach them the importance of the process and working together as an ensemble. We feel it is important for them to understand the collaborative nature of all performing arts, and that when you work with others, you can reach your highest potential.
Schedule
HTAC's Instructional Year Runs September through June, with ongoing registration. Each class meets once a week.
