Classes & Tuition

*Enrollment in all ongoing classes is based on Age and Ability.

Broadway Babies – (Ages 4 to 5). Allow your child to express themselves, gain confidence and make friends by exploring different worlds and characters.   Students will reach inside our “mystery prop box” and use stories, music and imagination to introduce them to the magic of theater.

Jesters – (Ages 6 to 7). Students will continue to explore different worlds and characters and dig a little deeper into the magic of theater.  Through songs, scenes, and theater games students will learn to work with their fellow cast mates and be confident on the stage.

Studio Time – (Beginner).   This class allows your child to embrace the beginning stages of the acting process. Through improvisation and games, students will explore the basic fundamentals of acting by learning to work with partners, create characters and feel comfortable on stage. Students will work on simple scenes and monologues, so they must be able to read.

In the Wings – (Intermediate).   This class takes the process a step further.   Students will focus on the importance of “listening” and “doing” through scene work and improvisation. Through the introduction of monologues students will have fun creating different approaches to characters.

Center Stage – (Int. / Advanced).   For the student who wants to be “performance ready,” this class harnesses all of the previously learned tools and prepares the student to be front and center.   They will continue to advance in scene work, monologues, improvisation and will be introduced to audition techniques.

Encore – (Advanced).   This class is for the student who has a good foundation of experience in performing and is ready to move into more challenging material.   They will stretch themselves by working on scene study, monologues, and improvisation.

Musical Theater Vocal Performance I   (Beginner)
Musical Theater Vocal Performance II (Intermediate)
Musical Theater Vocal Performance III (Experienced)
Musical Theater Vocal Performance IV (Advanced)
An essential class for the Musical Theater Performer, this class helps the actor learn the importance of working within an ensemble as well as solo numbers. Students will learn the art of storytelling through song, how to commit to the character being portrayed and how to incorporate blocking and movement to make it a show stopping number! Accompanist will be provided.

Company – (Ages 8 ½ and up). This class is comprised of students interested in collaborating to create a unique piece of theater that will be performed throughout our region.  In the past, our Company has collaborated to workshop and create two original musicals, “Kids Care” and “Five Children and IT,” both of which had their World Premiers in New York City.  Actors will be required to sign a commitment contract for all rehearsals and performances.  All interested actors must be enrolled by SESSION 2 to participate in this year’s Company Production.

Acting Workshop for Adults – This class gets RAVE reviews from students!  A perfect mix of amateurs and local actors, this class will bolster your confidence and increase your creative capacity through various exercises and techniques.  Students will explore the craft of acting in a highly creative and fun environment.
